INTRODUCTION TO THE SCARPA GEA
This winter, the famous Gea makes its return in an even lighter and more efficient version, to offer ski touring women of all levels, from beginners to experts, the opportunity to explore vast spaces while providing maximum pleasure and comfort throughout the descent.
This new edition features a new fitting system that ensures exceptional foot support, notably thanks to two shell closure systems: the “Wave Closure System” allowing progressive tightening of the instep, and the “Heel Retention System” keeping the heel in place during ascent phases and downhill support. Additionally, equipped with a thermoformable INTUITION liner, this boot offers you the possibility to perfectly adjust it according to the specifics of your feet.
With a reduced weight of only 1220 grams in size 25 and great movement flexibility thanks to a 61-degree range of motion, the Gea will lead you in great shape to the summit, allowing you to fully enjoy the descent. Its Pebax Rnew construction, with a carbon insert in the shell to stiffen it and improve transmission with the skis, ensures perfect precision during the descent. Moreover, the “Alpine Axial Hybrid” tongue system simplifies putting on and taking off the boot.
Furthermore, the Pebax Rnew used is derived from plant-based products, notably castor oil, and the boot is free of PVC. The Ortholite sole is made from recycled compounds. In terms of safety, the boots are equipped with Recco reflectors, an additional feature for your peace of mind.
