Scott Ski Touring Boots

For the 2026/2027 season, Scott has discontinued its ski touring boot range. The brand no longer offers ski touring or freeride touring boots in its current collection. We nevertheless keep the information below as an archive for skiers looking for specifications and details about previous Scott models, which may still be available from some retailers or on the second-hand market.

Scott Hint 130 GripWalk: freeride touring
The Hint 130 GripWalk was Scott’s hybrid freeride touring boot. Inspired by alpine ski boots, it featured a stated 130 flex, an integrated ski/walk mechanism, Dynafit®-certified tech inserts and a GripWalk® sole. Its stated weight was 1,790 g in size 26.5.

Scott Cosmos Pro: the top touring model
The Cosmos Pro was the flagship of Scott’s touring range. Built around the Powerlite 2.0 construction, it combined a stated weight of 1,380 g in size 26.5 with a 130 flex, positioning it at the sportier end of the Cosmos family.

Scott Cosmos and Celeste: versatile touring boots
The Cosmos and its women’s counterpart, the Celeste, occupied the versatile ski touring segment. The Cosmos featured a stated 110 flex, while the Celeste had a 100 flex. The Celeste was listed at 1,225 g in size 24.5.

Scott Orbit: the more accessible option
The Orbit was the most accessible model in Scott’s ski touring boot range, with a stated 100 flex and a weight of 1,330 g in size 26.5. It was positioned as a straightforward touring boot for recreational ski tourers.

The former Scott range therefore covered several types of use, from the Hint 130 GripWalk for freeride touring to the Cosmos Pro, Cosmos, Celeste and Orbit for traditional ski touring. These models are no longer part of Scott’s 2026/2027 collection, but their specifications and previous tests remain available here for reference.
