The brand new Cosmos Re-Source boot is the latest addition to the growing Re-Source product family. Based on the iconic design of the Cosmos model, this ski boot stands out for its use of sustainable materials. While maintaining the versatility and lightness that made the Cosmos famous, it positions itself as one of the best ski touring boots on the market.

The Cosmos Re-Source features an entirely new liner, designed from GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified fabrics. The shell and upper part of the boot are made from Pebax® Rnew®, a renewable material, while the strap is made from 100% recycled polyester. By opting for these sustainable materials, the Cosmos Re-Source boot helps reduce our environmental impact.

In terms of performance, the boot has a stiffness index of 110, offering a good balance between support and responsiveness. The forward lean is adjustable to 12° or 14°, allowing skiers to customize their position according to their preferences and skiing style. The cuff rotation reaches 60°, providing a wide range of motion to facilitate mountain walking.

The boot closure is done using three micro-adjustable Ergal® buckles and a velcro strap, ensuring a precise and secure fit. The last width is 103.5 mm, offering a good compromise between comfort and performance.

The Cosmos Re-Source boot is compatible with Dynafit® certified Tech inserts, allowing versatile use with ski touring bindings. The cuff hooks are equipped with a reliable locking system to keep the cuff in place during descent. The ski/walk mechanism, activated by a rear lever, allows for easy transition between ski and walk modes.

The boot liner is designed with thermal and memory foam, offering a personalized fit and excellent comfort. The dual-density Vibram® rubber soles ensure optimal grip on various terrains, adding an extra layer of confidence when walking.

Finally, the Cosmos Re-Source boot is equipped with a Rebound Pro strap, which enhances the boot’s responsiveness by effectively transmitting power to the skis.
