ATK ski touring bindings

Italian manufacturer ATK Bindings continues to refine its ski touring binding lineup for the 2026/2027 season with a series of targeted updates. Following the major range simplification introduced two years ago, the collection now evolves through incremental improvements, making it easier to navigate while retaining the models that have built ATK’s reputation for lightweight performance and precision engineering.

The Race category has been streamlined with the discontinuation of the Revolution SL. The Trofeo and Revolution World Cup remain the brand’s flagship bindings for ski mountaineering racing and elite competition.

In the Speed Touring range, the Timepacer 12 continues unchanged. It retains its unique cable-operated ski brake system activated from the climbing riser, a DIN 6–12 lateral release, 30 mm boot length adjustment, and an impressive weight of just 430 g per pair. The Kuluar 10 and 12 Superlight, together with the Haute Route 10 Plus and Trofeo Plus, remain available for ski tourers seeking minimalist, lightweight equipment.

The Touring lineup sees a small but important update. The Crest 10 now features fully automatic ski brakes, replacing the previous Crest 10 AP, which has been discontinued. The RT 11 EVO remains unchanged, continuing to offer automatic brakes and a versatile all-round touring design.

ATK’s Freetouring range remains one of the most comprehensive on the market. The Raider family continues with the SL and EVO versions, while the Freeraider lineup is now focused on the Freeraider 14 SL and Freeraider 15 EVO. The Freeraider 14 AP has been discontinued as part of the brand’s ongoing effort to simplify its product range.

Alongside these core families, the V-Crest remains a unique hybrid binding, combining the toe piece of the former C-Raider with the heel of the Crest. It weighs 590 g per pair with ski brakes (or 320 g without) and offers an attractive balance between lightweight performance and everyday usability.

The HY FREE, ATK’s latest freeride-oriented binding, also returns unchanged. Designed for skiers looking for powerful downhill performance without sacrificing touring efficiency, it further strengthens ATK’s already extensive lineup.

ATK also continues to benefit from the technical improvements introduced in recent seasons. Many models, including the Crest, RT, Raider and Freeraider, feature the brand’s anti-snow toe piece, which uses a raised base plate to prevent snow from accumulating beneath the pin springs. This system improves step-in reliability and overall performance in challenging winter conditions.
