Fritschi Ski Touring Bindings
Fritschi is a historic and well-recognized brand in the world of ski touring. Founded in Switzerland in 1960, it has built its reputation on the quality, safety, and innovation of its bindings, particularly in the touring and freeride-touring segments. True to its high standards, Fritschi designs its products in collaboration with mountain professionals to meet the demands of the most committed users.
For the 2025/2026 season, the brand retains its compact and easy-to-understand range, while enriching it with an important new addition: the arrival of the Xenic Plus.
In the classic ski touring segment, the Xenic, already available in 7 and 10 versions (corresponding to the maximum DIN setting), is now joined by the Xenic Plus. This new model builds on the proven Xenic platform but with two major upgrades: a higher DIN release range up to 12, meeting the expectations of stronger or more aggressive skiers, and the addition of an extra climbing heel riser for greater comfort and efficiency during long ascents.
In the freeride-touring segment, the Tecton 13 remains Fritschi’s flagship. It combines a low-tech toe piece with an alpine-style heel piece with jaws, delivering excellent power transfer on the descent without compromising uphill lightness. It appeals to those who want to ski hard while maintaining real climbing capability in alpine terrain.
Bridging these two worlds, the Vipec Evo 12 continues to serve as the middle ground. It offers adjustable DIN safety up to 12 with a low-tech heel featuring lateral elasticity, making it a very balanced option for those who want a secure binding without going fully into freeride mode.
