MANUFACTURER’S OPINION
The Blaze range oriented towards freerando makes its appearance at Volkl with weights greater than the touring range but still well placed to consider elevation with. We will find the Volkl Blaze 94 touring ski (3080g in 179cm), the Blaze 106 (3400g in 179cm) and their women’s equivalents. These skis have a wood core and longer radii. All that’s left is to test on the snow. A touring ski with a contained weight, fun and easy to ski with a Hybrid Wood core: Poplar, Paulownia, and isocore from tip to tail. The use of specific elastomer tips in the tip and tail offers more comfort in powder.
