Tecnica Ski Touring Boots

For the 2026/2027 season, Tecnica offers a range of ski touring and freeride touring boots primarily structured around the Zero G families. The collection extends from relatively lightweight models dedicated to touring to new freeride-oriented hybrid boots, with the Zero G Peak, Zero G Tour and Zero G Decoy. The latter is the major new addition for the season and replaces the Cochise.

Tecnica Zero G Peak: the lightweight touring range
The Zero G Peak models occupy the lightest segment of Tecnica’s range. Their architecture is specifically developed for ski touring, with a minimalist construction, generous cuff mobility and significantly lower weight than the Zero G Tour and Decoy. The family includes several versions, including the Zero G Peak Carbon, which incorporates carbon into its construction, and the Zero G Peak. These models represent Tecnica’s option for ski tourers primarily looking for a dedicated boot for long days and routes involving significant vertical gain.

Tecnica Zero G Tour: the versatile ski touring range
The Zero G Tour has been at the heart of Tecnica’s ski touring boot range for several generations. Completely redesigned for 2024/2025, it features a shell incorporating 3D Power Frame construction, four buckles and a ski/walk mechanism. The Zero G Tour Pro is the highest-end version, with a stated weight of just 2,580 g per pair in size 26.5. The Zero G Tour Scout uses the same platform but notably features a cuff without carbon and a different flex rating. Women’s versions also complete the family. The Zero G Tour therefore occupies an intermediate position within Tecnica’s range: more substantial than the Peak, but significantly lighter and more touring-oriented than the new Decoy.

Tecnica Zero G Decoy: the new 2027 freeride touring range
The major new addition for 2026/2027, the Zero G Decoy replaces the Cochise and extends the Zero G family towards freeride and freeride touring. Tecnica positions it between the Zero G Tour and its Mach alpine ski boots. The Decoy features an injected PU shell with a reinforced Power Frame, four micro-adjustable aluminium buckles and the T-Hike ski/walk system. It offers a stated 65° range of motion, while all versions use a 99 mm last. The Vibram GripWalk ISO 23223 sole incorporates Low Tech inserts, allowing use with compatible GripWalk or pin bindings. The range includes the Zero G Decoy Pro, Decoy 130 and Decoy 120, along with the Decoy 115 W and 105 W. Tecnica states weights ranging from 1,660 to 1,715 g per boot in size 26.5 for the three detailed men’s models.

With the Zero G Peak, Zero G Tour and Zero G Decoy, Tecnica covers three major approaches to ski touring boots: lightweight touring, versatile ski touring and freeride touring. The new Decoy significantly expands the 2027 range towards hybrid use, while the Peak and Tour remain the families specifically focused on ski touring.
