The versatile boot from Tecnica gets a makeover with updated stiffness and reduced weight. The T-Ride system is fully integrated into the boot’s design. It is a solid connection between the cuff and the shell that offers a combination of downhill performance and uphill hiking capabilities.
The longer lever arm of the T-Ride ensures a faster transition from edge to edge, increased lateral power, and better stability. The T-Ride design makes it easy and intuitive, you will always be sure to know if you are in ski or hike mode. The integrated locking system screw ensures that the mechanism remains closed even in the event of a hard landing or impact with rocks. The 50-degree range of motion allows for comfortable hiking in walk mode.
Finally, the C.A.S system allows for full customization of the boot from the liner to the shell. The Cochise comes in several versions with different flexes (110, 120, 130). The 130 model also has a “light” version that weighs 3.3kg per pair in 26.5 compared to 3.7kg in the classic version.
Versatile par excellence, this model makes no compromises on the descent. The Cochise 130 DYN equipped with Grip Walk soles is a stiff freeride boot comfortable both on and off-piste for thrill-seekers. Thanks to its polyether shell, this model is 30% lighter and twice as stiff as traditional boots. You can go faster, higher, and further with less effort. The self-adjusting cuff mobility system offers a generous 42° range for approach walks or slight elevation changes (with Dynafit Tech inserts as a complement). On the descent, the Cochise 130 DYN GW is ultra-precise and fast for crazy rides. Its anatomically shaped liner is comfortable right from the start. But if necessary, your bootfitter can use Tecnica’s C.A.S. technology to punch, grind, and thermoform it to perfectly fit your foot. In summary: the Cochise 130 DYN GW will delight today’s skiers looking for great downhill performance while maintaining good uphill capabilities.
