OUR TEST OF THE BLIZZARD ZERO G 88 W

MANUFACTURER’S OPINION

W2W: a special design for women’s touring skis
Since 2015, Blizzard’s Women2Women (W2W) program has been designing products specifically tailored to the needs of female skiers, in collaboration with athletes, coaches, and passionate practitioners. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of their Women-Specific Design (W.S.D.) approach, Blizzard unveils its first touring skis designed for women within the Zero G collection.
Although the women’s models share the same Trueblend Tour 2.0 core as the unisex versions, their construction has been redesigned to better meet the anatomy and expectations of female skiers. The flex is thus about 10% softer, ensuring better maneuverability without compromising performance.
The exterior design also reflects this special attention, with natural tones, elegant and understated lines, stemming from the W2W think tank.

The perfect balance between lightness, performance, and reliability
A true reference in the world of women’s touring skiing, the Blizzard Zero G 88 W embodies a successful alliance between precision, agility, and innovation. Designed for mountain enthusiasts, it accompanies you both in demanding ascents and technical descents, with smooth and intuitive handling.

A featherweight to go further
Weighing only 2,220 g per pair (in size 171 cm), the Zero G 88 W allows for faster and less tiring climbs. Its Trueblend Tour 2.0 core – an intelligent blend of poplar, paulownia, and beech – ensures progressive and stable flexion, offering optimal control and increased responsiveness in technical terrains.

Versatility in all conditions
Thanks to a balanced sidecut (118–88–102 mm) and 5 Radius Sidecut technology, this ski adapts easily to a wide variety of conditions: hard, crusty, or powder snow. It links turns smoothly, while offering excellent grip on icy snow and precise maneuverability in challenging passages.
