Dynafit Ski Touring Bindings

Discover our tests of the famous ski touring binding brand, Dynafit. From models designed for competition to bindings built for high-mountain freeride, we offer you a complete overview of the 2025/2026 range. This season, there’s no revolution among the existing models, but two notable new additions strengthen the classic touring line: the Backlight Pro and the new Backlight, redesigned on the same base.

Dynafit maintains a highly specialized range of competition bindings with the DNA, Low Tech Race 105, and 115, designed for race skiers seeking pure performance. The Mezzalama remains a more accessible alternative, offering a good compromise between lightness and versatility for those who flirt with the competition world without fully diving in.

The Superlite 150 and 175 bridge the gap between competition and classic touring, combining low weight with expanded features such as adjustable DIN settings and multiple climbing heel risers.

The classic ski touring range evolves this season with the introduction of two models:
– Backlight Pro: an ultra-modern, lightweight, and streamlined binding designed for demanding users seeking reliability, responsiveness, and precision without stepping into the full competition realm;
– The new Backlight: deeply updated based on the Pro, with the same chassis but slightly different components to offer an excellent performance-to-weight-to-price ratio.

They complement an already well-established classic lineup, including the Seven Summit, Speed Radical, and Speed Turn, all carried over this season unchanged.

Finally, for freeride-touring enthusiasts, the ST Rotation remains the benchmark in the segment, combining safety (TÜV-certified DIN) with uphill efficiency. It is now joined by the Ridge, released in 2024/2025, which continues to expand Dynafit’s freeride offering with a more aggressive and modern approach.
