Reliable, this binding ensures excellent force transmission to the ski on descent. Its lightness, maneuverability, and comfort stand out, notably thanks to an extra-wide support surface and Step-In Side Towers that facilitate stepping in. For a firm hold of the shoe, it has special “icebreaker” tips that expel ice and snow from the inserts. The toe piece is designed to break ice and snow caught in the binding when stepping in, allowing you to tackle the next ascent or descent without delay.
The ski brake activates automatically in Ski mode and locks in Walk mode from the first step. The binding is equipped with a new integrated climbing aid with three walking positions, offering increased comfort during ascents on steep terrain. Manipulations can be done with ski poles, but it is also possible to adjust the climbing aids by hand. The toe piece’s Excenter is designed to be locked with the ski pole handle and unlocked with its tip.
Another clever advantage, the Seven Summits+ is compatible with the new DYNAFIT Quick-In axle crampons, thanks to a modified crampon bracket. The crampons can be inserted not only laterally but also from above, which is particularly quick and simple on steep and technical terrain. Like all DYNAFIT bindings, the Seven Summits+ is developed in Germany and produced in Europe.
