PRESENTATION OF THE DALBELLO QUANTUM EVO
The Dalbello Quantum EVO is a lightweight ski touring boot aimed at skiers who prioritise efficiency on the ascent without completely sacrificing downhill capability. It sits at the lighter end of Dalbello’s touring range, below the Quantum Free, which is heavier and more downhill-oriented.
The Quantum EVO uses Dalbello’s Bonded Shell construction, a distinctive feature of the brand’s touring boots. The shell is made from several components to create an anatomical, lightweight structure while providing the rigidity required to transmit input during the descent.
The closure system remains deliberately minimalist, with a Freebuckle on the lower shell and a 40 mm Tour-Strap around the cuff. This configuration helps reduce weight while simplifying transitions. Dalbello states a generous 65° range of motion, designed to promote a natural stride on the skin track. The range is exclusively compatible with bindings meeting the touring standard.
Quantum EVO Pro, EVO Sport and women’s versions
For 2026/2027, Dalbello offers the Quantum EVO in four versions.
The Quantum EVO Pro is the lightest and most performance-oriented model. It combines a carbon-composite polyamide shell and cuff, a 99 mm last and an ID EVO Pro liner. It weighs just 1,050 g per boot and is available in sizes 24.5 to 30.5. The Quantum EVO Sport uses a more accessible composite polyamide construction, without carbon reinforcement. Its last increases to 101 mm, combined with an ID EVO Sport liner. Weight rises to 1,150 g per boot, only 100 g more than the Pro.
The range also includes two women’s versions. The Quantum EVO W features a carbon-composite polyamide shell, a composite polyamide cuff and a 99 mm last, with a stated weight of 1,020 g per boot. The Quantum EVO Sport W uses composite polyamide, features a roomier 101 mm last and weighs 1,070 g per boot. All four versions retain the same 65° range of motion and Freebuckle system.
With these different versions, the Dalbello Quantum EVO represents the lightweight and sporty side of Dalbello’s ski touring boot range. The Pro places the greatest emphasis on the weight-to-rigidity ratio, while the Sport versions offer a slightly wider fit and a more accessible construction.
