A lightweight and versatile ski touring boot for big vertical days
The Dynafit TLT X is a ski touring boot designed for skiers who prioritise low weight, uphill efficiency and freedom of movement, while still looking for enough support to enjoy the descent. Building on Dynafit’s long-running TLT heritage, it sits between the brand’s most minimalist ski mountaineering boots and its more substantial models designed for more demanding touring.
A concept primarily designed for the ascent
The TLT X retains the traditional philosophy of the range: keeping weight down and simplifying operation to improve efficiency on the skin track. Its generous range of motion is designed to allow a natural stride during long climbs, while the relatively minimalist construction makes it particularly suited to tours with significant vertical gain, traverses and multi-day ski tours. The transition between walk and ski modes is designed to remain quick and straightforward. Dynafit’s objective is to provide a boot that can handle repeated transitions and mode changes without unnecessary manipulation.
A precise closure system for the descent
Despite its uphill-oriented design, the Dynafit TLT X remains a versatile ski touring boot. Its closure system is designed to secure the foot and heel for greater precision on the descent. Its overall programme nevertheless remains firmly within the lightweight touring category, prioritising efficiency and mobility rather than the power of a heavier freerando boot.
A TLT X range for different foot shapes
Dynafit offers the TLT X concept in several versions to address different requirements. The TLT X forms the core of the family, while the various models differ in materials, weight and fit volume.
The range notably includes PU versions, featuring a different construction from the lightest models, as well as Wide versions for skiers requiring additional volume around the forefoot. These variants retain the overall TLT X philosophy while providing different options depending on foot shape and intended use.

The TLT X family occupies a central position within Dynafit’s ski touring boot range.
