800 grams on the scale, a carbon cuff, and an innovative locking system: the unisex DNA boot is a top choice for ski mountaineering athletes. This race boot, stripped down to the essentials, combines performance and lightness at the highest level for maximum speed in the mountains. With the DNA, you wear an ultra-lightweight, stable, and perfectly reliable model. The lower shell is made of a high-performance material blend of Grilamid and carbon fiber, while the upper is entirely made of carbon fiber for maximum rigidity. Thanks to the innovative Race Lock system, you switch from Ski mode to Walk mode with a flick of the wrist, literally. The device consists of a lever located on the back of the upper and connected to the cuff by a cable system, which allows you to lock or unlock the cuff. A hook closure system – patent pending – allows you to secure the upper with a simple “click” in the desired position. With the revolutionary Twist Fit system for a firm and precise hold of the heel and forefoot, you benefit from remarkable rigidity with the DNA for maximum downhill performance. You thus exploit your full potential in descents as well. With the cuff’s range of motion of +/- 60° forward and backward, you move uphill particularly efficiently and economically. The DNA boot is offered with a “bikini” liner reduced to the bare minimum. Weighing only 110 grams, it wraps the foot precisely like a second sock and allows effective control in descents, even at high speed. The liner is thermoformable and thus adapts individually to the shape of your foot, for a precise fit without pressure points, even during longer outings. The DNA boot is entirely designed and manufactured in Italy. All important elements of the boot are fixed with screws, allowing you to replace parts individually.
