PRESENTATION OF THE DYNAFIT RADICAL PRO
A versatile ski touring boot for long days in the mountains
The Dynafit Radical Pro evolves for the 2026/2027 season while retaining its highly versatile positioning. It is aimed at ski tourers looking for a boot that remains light and mobile enough for long ascents while providing support and precision on the descent. With a stated weight of 1,380 g per boot for the men’s version, a 104 mm last, 120 flex and 60° range of motion, its specifications are designed around a balance of comfort, uphill efficiency and downhill performance. The Radical Pro W weighs 1,270 g and has a stated flex of 110.
New Radical Pro for 2026/2027
This new generation receives three main updates. The Flex Tongue is now made from a single piece to reduce weight and improve comfort, while a new Vibram sole is designed to provide additional grip when walking. A new Boot Board also offers greater possibilities for customising the fit.
The Radical Pro retains its distinctive Hoji Lock system. In walk mode, the cuff and lower shell move independently to provide the full 60° range of motion. For the descent, a single action on the lever tensions the cables connected to the buckles and Ultra Lock strap, linking the shell and cuff to create a more rigid structure for skiing.
Radical Pro and Radical: a range focused on versatility
The Dynafit Radical family sits at the heart of the brand’s all-round touring range, between the lighter, more uphill-oriented TLT boots and its more freeride-focused models. The range is designed for everything from classic day tours and long days in the mountains to multi-day ski traverses and powder-oriented tours.
The Radical Pro is the more performance-oriented version, featuring the Hoji Lock system and a construction designed to provide additional support on the descent. The standard Radical takes a simpler and more accessible approach while retaining an all-round ski touring programme. On paper, it is an alternative for ski tourers prioritising comfort, ease of use and a balanced uphill/downhill configuration.
With the Radical, Radical W, Radical Pro and Radical Pro W, Dynafit therefore offers a coherent range for classic ski touring, with the updated 2026/2027 Radical Pro retaining versatility as its central focus.
