PRESENTATION OF THE SALOMON SHIFT SUPRA BOA

The Salomon Shift Supra BOA is a freerando boot intended for skiers seeking a more generous fit than that of the Shift Alpha. With a stated width of 102 mm, it completes the Shift range by offering more internal volume, while maintaining a walk mode with 55° of motion.

The Shift Supra BOA adopts a 3 buckles + strap construction, with the BOA Fit System for tightening the lower shell. This system uses a dial and cable to gradually adjust the foot’s enclosure. The whole retains an architecture close to an alpine boot, combined with the necessary elements for freerando use.

With weights announced between 3,710 and 3,860 g per pair depending on the versions, the Shift Supra BOA clearly falls into the freerando boot category, rather than among the lightweight touring models. Its 102 mm fit is mainly the primary difference with the Shift Alpha BOA and its 98 mm, allowing Salomon to offer two distinctly different volumes within its Shift range.

Shift Supra S BOA 130, Shift Supra BOA 120 and 100
The Shift Supra S BOA 130 tops the range with a flex 130, a fit of 102 mm, and a motion range of 55°. It weighs 3,860 g per pair for a stated price of €850.
The Shift Supra BOA 120 adopts a flex 120, while maintaining the 102 mm fit, 55° motion range, and 3 buckles + strap tightening. Its weight is stated at 3,840 g per pair, for a price of €750.
Finally, the Shift Supra BOA 100 is the softest and lightest version of the family. It features a flex 100, a weight of 3,710 g per pair, still with a 102 mm fit and a 55° motion range. Its stated price is €600.
With the Shift Supra S BOA 130, Shift Supra BOA 120, and Shift Supra BOA 100, Salomon thus offers its freerando boot with a large volume on three flex levels. It complements the Shift Alpha BOA in 98 mm, to offer two Shift families differentiated mainly by their fit volume and their various versions.
