Stone Legalize splitboard 🔓

After Âme, it’s Stone’s turn to offer a board with the Floorboard system, the famous floorboard-style notch to solidify the 2 parts. Here, in the editorial office, we are already all super convinced of the benefits brought by this technology, and it’s always a pleasure to know that other brands are adopting the principle initiated by Furberg. The riders of the Stone crew were also very excited about this feature. Especially since, in terms of weight, it doesn’t really handicap the model. The whole remains comfortable and well-balanced on the ascent. But it’s clearly on the descent that you feel the benefits of the Floorboard, especially with this kind of all-mountain shape. The feeling of reliability and precision makes you want to pick up speed and will allow you to put power into this board that will give it back to you. The tolerance of the bi-axial fiber allows the whole to not be too demanding or too nervous. It shouldn’t push you to make mistakes and will be a superb ally from top to bottom, no matter the face you decide to ride. Now offered across the entire Stone range, all the fittings are branded, with holes on the nose and tail for the placement of Stone skins, plus a signed hook; attention to detail right down to the graphics by Matt Georges that perfects the picture of a split at an attractive price and full of quality.
