PRESENTATION OF THE SELUN A230G
Developed and manufactured in Switzerland, the Selun A230 is a high-end insert binding that stands out for its exceptional weight/performance ratio. Machined from a high-strength aerospace aluminum alloy, it weighs only 230 g with ski brakes, while offering adjustable lateral and frontal release (Z 5 to 13). Its development focused on three priorities: reducing weight, improving pressure transmission, and ensuring high reliability in the mountains.
One of the main innovations of the Selun A230 lies in its front toe piece, which uses a contraction spring serving as both an elastic element and a joint. This design significantly reduces the number of parts while improving lightness and durability. The wide mounting distances also optimize force transmission, especially on wide skis, while the heel piece offers four climbing positions, a length adjustment of 26 mm, and a ski flex compensation of 10 mm.
The Selun A230 range comes in several versions to meet different programs, from light touring to freerando. All share the same philosophy: a light, precise, and robust binding, entirely designed and manufactured in Switzerland to offer maximum efficiency on the ascent without compromising downhill performance.
