The latest addition to the PLUM range, the KAIRN pushes the limits of lightness without compromising on safety or functionality. Designed for ski tourers looking for equipment that is both ultra-light and fully adjustable, it is the lightest of the PLUM bindings allowing DIN adjustment both frontally and laterally, from 4 to 10. A first in this weight category, making it a choice ally for those who want to climb high and descend hard, with total reliability.
Its new sleek design incorporates an intuitive entry system, making entry into the binding smooth and quick, even in difficult conditions. Thanks to its three climbing positions – 0, 50, and 65 mm – the KAIRN allows comfortable progression on all types of terrain, from long flat approaches to the steepest couloirs. Its integrated compensation system in the heel piece offers better ski flex tracking and increased precision on release, for optimal safety.
Like all PLUM bindings, the KAIRN is designed with rigor and durability. It includes knife supports for technical passages, as well as a 20 mm adjustment rail that facilitates adaptation to different sole lengths. All in a minimal weight, ideal for long outings or ambitious elevation gains.
With the KAIRN, PLUM offers a binding that combines technical innovation, extreme lightness, and versatility, allowing the most demanding hikers to aim for the summits… without overloading themselves.
