Until now, Majesty skis around 90mm underfoot were quite exclusive, but with the Superwolf, the Polish brand makes a big impact. Inspired by the wider Supernova, the Superwolf is above all ultra versatile. While its performance is impeccable in powder, it manages to be good on hard and spring snow with good grip and top-notch maneuverability. On steep slopes, it’s a delight to handle regardless of the slope’s inclination or width. In deep snow, its progressive tip works wonders, and it feels like having a much wider ski underfoot, especially since the Superwolf is particularly stable when picking up the pace. Whether you’re a very good skier or a beginner, the Superwolf has potential. The only limits for beginners are in poor snow conditions where a bit more speed and technique are needed to manage with a slightly catchy tail, but nothing that detracts from the very positive overall picture of this model. In short, one of our favorite skis this season in the 90mm underfoot category where there aren’t that many skis that are very good in powder and perform well elsewhere. If you’re not concerned about 300g but are about 200β¬, the classic version of the Superwolf has very similar performance.
Two major new products are arriving at Majesty in the 90mm underfoot category. The basic idea for the Superwolf (91mm underfoot) is to adapt the concept of the Supernova (103mm underfoot) that works well on a narrower underfoot to have an ultra versatile ski with a very light weight of 2900g per pair in 178cm. This model will be available in a lighter and slightly more expensive Carbon version: 2620g per pair in 178cm. The Superscoot will also be available at 85mm underfoot, more oriented towards pure and hard touring (2800g per pair for 178cm). This model will also be available in a Carbon version: 2500g per pair for 178cm. The Majesty Superwolf Carbon touring ski is both very light, powerful, and ultra versatile! This ski will be very stable at high speed but also very maneuverable in tight terrains.
