OUR REVIEW OF THE MAJESTY SUPERPATROL CARBON
MANUFACTURER’S OPINION
The Polish brand completes its touring range with a ski at 96mm underfoot: The Superpatrol! This was missing between the Superwolf at 91mm and the Supernova at 103mm. The Superpatrol will be available in 2 versions. The Majesty Superpatrol Carbon weighs 2900g per pair in 177cm and the classic version 3160g. This weight, neither too low nor too high, could provide a good compromise in descent if Majesty succeeds in the variation of its Superwolf which works wonderfully. Both versions will be available in 4 sizes: 161, 169, 177, and 185cm.
This model is made in Poland and dedicated Majesty skins are available as an option. The Superpatrol Carbon is the latest high-performance ski at the cutting edge of technology designed for advanced skiers and the most demanding mountain professionals. It is a dynamic, responsive, and lightweight technical ski, designed for stability, precision, and downhill performance.
Built with flat tails, rocker tips, a semi-cap topsheet, Paulownia wood core, fully carbon-coated with carbon-aramid fibers, and cut-off tail (COT) technology. All this wrapped around a lightweight Paulownia wood core creates shorter skis with the binding position slightly offset towards the heel.
This recipe has created very agile and versatile skis that are light as a feather for the ascent and very performant in descents, even in very bad conditions. Although the total length may seem shorter, there has been no compromise on ease of use as the effective edge extends over almost the entire length of the ski.
With the Superpatrol Carbon solution, you can ski shorter and lighter skis with the confidence of a big and heavy ripper. COT (cut-off tail) technology By reducing the tail length and moving the skier’s position back, we have created faster turns and more versatile skis. The notable reduction in length and weight has been achieved without compromising any functionality. In fact, the usability of Supernova has been increased – the longer contact edge allows you to ski even shorter skis than what was previously considered functional.
