Majesty Supernova Carbon

OUR REVIEW OF THE MAJESTY SUPERNOVA CARBON

Quite rare, the behavior of the lighter version of the Supernova Carbon is as good or even better than the “heavy” version! The Majesty Supernova Carbon was slightly modified last season with a bit more stiffness but the behavior is very similar. With its ultra-progressive tip, the Supernova handles any snow without effort with disconcerting maneuverability and ease. Even when the snow is crusty or rotten, the ski goes through as if the snow was good. To top it off, stability is good even at high speed. It’s only on hard snow where the grip doesn’t work miracles, but at 103mm underfoot, that’s not the program! And when you look at the weight – only 3kg in 177cm – you quickly understand that Majesty has done a great job.

MANUFACTURER’S OPINION

With the Majesty Supernova Carbon, the Polish brand Majesty makes a big impact by putting its Supernova on a diet with 500 grams less per pair on the scale! The perfect touring ski with more than 100mm underfoot! We really liked the Supernova from the Polish brand Majesty during our 2017/2018 test. Unfortunately, this ski was a bit heavy for use outside the resort. Good news, Majesty released a lighter version last season: 3kg in 177cm instead of 3.6kg. We had the chance to ski with it for an entire season and it seems that Majesty did a great job. We’ll tell you more in the October/November issue. This model is available in 3 sizes. Dedicated Majesty skins are also available. The skis are made in Poland, where the brand originates from.
