MANUFACTURER’S OPINION
Kastle offers its TX87 and TX93 touring skis in a UP version. In short, modifications have been made to make these models more accessible and more robust for rental use, for example. With DUAL RISE, HOLLOWTECH 3.0 technologies and a paulownia/poplar wood core, the TX UP are designed to be durable. There are also solid semi-cap edges and heel protectors. On the downside, the skis are 300g heavier per pair, with 3kg in 170cm for the TX87UP. The Kastle TX93 UP will be available in 4 sizes from 162cm to 186cm with dedicated Kastle skins as an option.
