PRESENTATION OF THE FISCHER TRANSALP CARBON PRO
The Fischer Transalp Carbon Pro is the top-of-the-range model in the Transalp family. Unlike the Travers range, which places greater emphasis on low weight and big vertical days, the Transalp uses a more versatile construction aimed at skiers looking for a balance between controlled weight and a more substantial design for the descent. The Carbon Pro weighs 1,280 g per boot in size 26.5 and has a stated flex of 130. One of its key features is the CARBONFUSED® cuff, while the shell is made from Pebax® Rnew®. Fischer also equips it with its Power Buckle System, combined with a wide 55 mm strap. The ski/walk transition is handled by the Double Lock Ski/Walk system, with adjustable forward lean. The full-rubber sole incorporates Dynafit® inserts, and the boot is designed for use with tech bindings. A Transalp Alpine liner completes the package.
Transalp Carbon Pro and TS: different levels within the range
The Fischer Transalp family is available in several versions based around a similar architecture but using different materials and levels of stiffness. The Transalp Carbon Pro sits at the top of the range with its CARBONFUSED® cuff, stated 130 flex and weight of 1,280 g per boot. The Transalp TS is the more accessible version, with a stated 100 flex, TPU shell and a weight of around 1,380 g per boot. The models retain key Transalp features including the Power Buckle System and Double Lock Ski/Walk mechanism. The range therefore offers different levels of stiffness and construction, from the lighter Carbon Pro with its higher stated flex to the simpler and slightly heavier TS.
