The Dynastar M-Vertical 88 touring ski stands out for its lightness, finesse, and great skiability. It is intended for hikers, curious or hungry for elevation, from pure hiking to steep slopes. It is available in 4 sizes from 156 to 180cm with dedicated skins as an option. Dynastar clarifies its freeride and touring ranges by grouping everything under the M-Line label. On the touring side, we find the M-Tour (formerly Mythic) and the M-Vertical more oriented towards classic touring. Regarding the M-Vertical, we find the M-Vertical 82 and the M-Vertical 82 pro which remain unchanged but Dynastar adds a ski with an 88mm waist that was missing from the range, the M-Vertical 88. This one, developed with the help of Vivian Bruchez, will weigh 2300g per pair in 180cm.
HYBRID CORE
Our best solution to achieve a unique snow feel: mix the performance of wood with the lightness and soft snow touch of PU.
TIP ROCKER
Moderate rocker in the tip only. It facilitates flat pivoting while combining smoothness and tolerance in curves. The rise is moderate so that as soon as the ski is on the edge, the ski works in the curve over the entire length of the contact edges.
FULL SIDEWALL CONSTRUCTION
With FULL SIDEWALL construction, the vertical sidewalls along the entire length, from tip to tail, help optimize grip, precision, balance, and power.
HYBRID CORE PAULOWNIA PU
The Hybrid Core technology is here combined with a Paulownia core with a density of 300g/m3, allowing an average weight reduction of the ski by 15 to 20% compared to the poplar core.
BASALT FIBER 2ND GENERATION
Mechanical properties similar to fiberglass requiring less weight (-25%) and therefore less weight. Add to that damping properties and you get the ideal reinforcement in Touring / Free Touring.
