PRESENTATION OF THE BLACK DIAMOND HELIO CARBON 102
The Black Diamond Helio Carbon 102 is a touring ski designed for skiers looking for a versatile, high-performance, and lightweight model, both uphill and downhill. Thanks to its pre-impregnated carbon fiber structure, it offers excellent torsional rigidity while maintaining great flexibility, allowing for very good maneuverability in all conditions. The paulownia wood core combined with ABS technology around the entire circumference ensures both lightness and strength, providing smooth gliding and good cushioning on technical or variable terrains.
With a 102 mm waist, this ski offers a good compromise between flotation in deep snow and grip on hard snow. The tip and tail rocker enhances maneuverability, improves grip, and offers excellent flotation in powder. The full ABS sidewall also includes a rear notch to facilitate the use of climbing skins, thus optimizing efficiency in touring.
Available in several sizes, the Black Diamond Helio Carbon 102 weighs 2700 g in 164 cm, 2890 g in 172 cm, 2990 g in 178 cm, and 3200 g in 185 cm. Made in Austria, it stands out for its perfect balance between downhill performance and uphill efficiency, making it a top choice for demanding touring skiers.
