Black Diamond Touring Skis

For the 2026/2027 season, Black Diamond retains its Helio Carbon touring skis lineup, which was completely redesigned last winter. Still available in four waist widths (88, 95, 102 and 108 mm), the range continues to focus on lightweight construction, uphill efficiency and reliable downhill performance. The Black Diamond Helio Carbon remains a benchmark for long ski tours, ski mountaineering and demanding alpine objectives.

The main update for 2026/2027 comes with the Black Diamond Impulse collection, now available in 98, 104 and 112 mm waist widths. According to Black Diamond, the new construction improves the balance between climbing efficiency and downhill performance, with optimized stiffness, increased responsiveness and a controlled weight designed for freerando and backcountry skiing. The result is a more capable ski for riders who prioritize the descent without sacrificing touring efficiency.
