The high-end model of the Backland UL series, the Atomic Backland Carbon UL is a lightweight touring boot designed for efficient ascent, quick transitions, and solid skiing performance. The Frictionless Pivot system provides the freedom of movement needed to quickly climb the mountain, and the Free/Lock 4.0 system allows you to lock the cuff for powerful skiing. The Boa® Fit system ensures a precise fit that can be effortlessly adjusted during the ride. Designed for quick transitions, the Speed Strap collar closure system integrates the buckle and Power Strap into one piece. A washable and breathable 3D Platinum Tour UL liner with Dry Fit Foam wraps the foot for an optimal fit and, combined with Dura Shield, significantly enhances the liner’s longevity. It is the ideal boot for touring skiers who pay attention to the overall weight of the boot.
