Elan Touring Skis

For the 2026/2027 season, Elan continues to build its touring skis lineup around the Ripstick Tour series, complemented by the freeride-oriented Ripstick range and its race skis. Designed to bridge the gap between downhill performance and climbing efficiency, the Ripstick Tour collection retains its Carbon Bridge Technology, which uses a carbon rod in the tip to improve stability, damping and vibration absorption without adding unnecessary weight. The skis also feature a reinforced construction compatible with modern hybrid touring bindings and are available with dedicated pre-cut climbing skins.

The main 2026/2027 update is the introduction of the new Elan Ripstick Tour 83, which replaces the Lynx range, now discontinued. With its 83 mm waist, lightweight construction and focus on long ascents, it takes over the role previously held by the Lynx 82 UL while becoming part of the Ripstick Tour family. This change simplifies Elan’s touring lineup while maintaining a dedicated option for ski tourers who prioritize uphill efficiency.

The Elan Ripstick Tour range now consists of four models: the Ripstick Tour 83, 88, 94 and 104, covering virtually every ski touring application, from lightweight skis for big vertical days to wider models designed for mixed snow conditions and all-round backcountry use.

On the freerando side, the Elan Ripstick collection returns unchanged with four waist widths (88, 96, 106 and 116 mm) for men, alongside women’s models in 88, 94 and 102 mm. Heavier than the Ripstick Tour series, these skis prioritize downhill performance while remaining suitable for touring with climbing skins.

With its 2026/2027 touring skis collection, Elan streamlines its lineup by integrating its ultralight models into the Ripstick Tour family while continuing to offer a complete range covering everything from lightweight ski touring to freerando and backcountry skiing.
