Lange Ski Touring Boots
For the 2026/2027 season, Lange renews its ski touring boot offering with the new CODE range. In keeping with the brand’s traditional positioning, this family is clearly focused on freeride and freeride touring, combining an alpine-inspired construction with a ski/walk mechanism for approaches and ascents on skins.
Lange CODE: the new freeride touring range
The Lange CODE features a four-buckle architecture complemented by a power strap at the top of the cuff. Its ski/walk system releases the cuff during walking phases, while retaining a construction primarily intended for skiers looking for a freeride-oriented boot. The CODE is therefore positioned more towards freeride touring and off-piste skiing than lightweight touring and routes involving significant vertical gain. To accommodate different foot shapes and stiffness requirements, Lange offers the CODE in several flex ratings and fit volumes.
CODE 140 PRO LV, 130 PRO LV and 120 PRO MV
The CODE 140 PRO LV is the stiffest version, with a stated flex of 140 and a Low Volume fit. The CODE 130 PRO LV retains the same close-fitting Low Volume platform with a 130 flex. Finally, the CODE 120 PRO MV features a roomier Medium Volume fit combined with a 120 flex.
With the new CODE family, Lange’s 2026/2027 ski touring boot range therefore has a very specific positioning: rather than offering an ultralight model dedicated to touring, the brand focuses on freeride touring boots with a walk mode, built around an architecture directly derived from Lange’s alpine ski boots.
