Lange Ski Touring Boots

For the 2025/2026 season, Lange is refocusing its ski touring range around the XT3 Free series, removing the XT3 Tour 2.0 Light and XT3 Tour Hybrid models from its catalog. The brand is keeping only its most downhill-oriented line, true to its alpine DNA.

XT3 Free – the freerando benchmark at Lange

Offered in several versions, the XT3 Free remains the brand’s most powerful touring boot. It targets skiers who prioritize downhill performance, while still maintaining some uphill mobility thanks to the Active Power V-Lock system (53° range of motion).

XT3 Free 130 MV: stiff flex version (130), medium fit (100 mm), weighing about 3580 g per pair (size 26.5).
XT3 Free 120 and 110: variations with more accessible flex for skiers seeking greater comfort or forgiveness.
Available in MV (Medium Volume) and LV (Low Volume) versions depending on foot width.
Shell construction in PU, with cuff in Grilamid or polyolefin (depending on version), offering a good balance of strength and mobility.

The XT3 Free is compatible with standard tech touring bindings (Low Tech) and freeride bindings (GripWalk/alpine), depending on the model. It remains a strong choice for committed freerando enthusiasts who climb with intent in order to maximize the descent.
