PRESENTATION OF THE FISCHER TRAVERS CARBON PRO

The Fischer Travers Carbon Pro is a lightweight ski touring boot designed for skiers looking for maximum uphill efficiency while retaining a rigid construction for the descent. It sits among the most performance-oriented models in the Fischer Travers family, a range clearly focused on lightweight touring, long days in the mountains and big vertical ascents. Its construction makes extensive use of carbon to increase rigidity while keeping weight low. The aim is to provide an efficient boot on the skin track, with minimal weight to lift with every stride, while retaining sufficient support for technical ski touring and the descent. On the ascent, the Travers Carbon Pro benefits from the generous cuff mobility that characterises the Travers range. Its range of motion is designed to promote a natural and efficient stride, particularly during long climbs. The closure system is designed to wrap the foot precisely while keeping transitions quick and straightforward.

Travers Carbon Pro, Travers CS and Travers Tour: several versions for different uses
Fischer offers the Travers family in several models sharing the same philosophy but with different constructions and performance levels. The Travers Carbon Pro is the most performance-oriented version, with extensive use of carbon to maximise the stiffness-to-weight ratio. It is primarily aimed at experienced ski tourers, big vertical days and demanding alpine routes. The Travers CS retains a lightweight and performance-focused positioning, with a construction designed to balance uphill efficiency and downhill support, making it a more versatile alternative for regular ski tourers. The Travers Tour places greater emphasis on comfort, ease of use and versatility. It retains the generous mobility of the Travers family but is aimed at more traditional ski touring and skiers primarily looking for an efficient boot for accumulating vertical gain. With the Travers Carbon Pro, Travers CS and Travers Tour, Fischer covers several levels of ski touring around the same core philosophy: low weight, generous freedom of movement and uphill efficiency, with progressively different constructions and levels of rigidity across the range.
