G3 touring skis

The G3 touring ski range is called FINDr, with three models currently in the catalog:
– FINDr R3 86
– FINDr R3 94
– FINDr R3 102

These skis are made in Canada and are ideal for fresh snow conditions. Thanks to their carbon sandwich construction, they are lightweight yet remain forgiving due to their wood core. The 3D shaping enhances edge grip on hard snow and contributes to the ski’s durability. Additionally, magnets embedded in the tips and tails allow the skis to be carried on a backpack without the need for ski straps.

G3 has also developed a fully recyclable ski range under the R3 label, which includes the SLAYr, FINDr, SEEKr, and ROAMr models. These skis maintain high performance without compromising on flex, weight, or durability. They are still made from top-tier materials such as carbon, polyurethane, resin, nylon, steel, magnets, titanal aluminum, and wood cores.

At the end of their life cycle, G3 will recover, reuse, or recycle each of these materials to reduce reliance on virgin resources. Components such as the nylon topsheet, polyurethane sidewalls and tail protectors, steel edges, titanal aluminum, HDPE bases, and wood cores will be recycled. Carbon fibers, fiberglass, magnets, and resin will be reused in the production of other G3 products.

Although G3 has not disclosed the specific details of the recycling process—citing proprietary methods—they have confirmed that each ski will be fully dismantled into its original components, all of which will be either recycled or reused. The entire process will employ environmentally friendly materials and systems to ensure a minimal ecological footprint.
