OUR REVIEW OF THE SALOMON MTN BINDING
SALOMON MTN REVIEW
A minimalist binding that borrows several technologies from race models. Notably, the DIN setting is fixed but can be modified by changing the “U” (3 U’s provided, DIN 7, 9, or 11). Salomon has also integrated a wedge at the front to aid in stepping in, which is interesting for such a lightweight binding. The Salomon MTN binding is robust with little plastic and inspires confidence. However, without ski brakes or play compensation, you shouldn’t expect to ski safely.
