Fischer Touring Skis
Fischer’s touring skis return unchanged for the 2025/2026 season.
The brand had completely revamped its Transalp touring ski range in the 2023/2024 season, introducing a wide variety of widths — and multiple versions per width!
The geometries and constructions are entirely new, built around ultralight Paulownia wood cores. Fischer states the focus was on enhancing downhill performance through the addition of a milled titanium plate, while still maintaining lightweight efficiency for climbing. All skis are manufactured in Europe with attention to environmental impact.
The range includes:
– Transalp (Junior version)
– Transalp 82: 2790g per pair in 169cm
– Transalp 84C: 2340g per pair in 192cm
– Transalp 86 CTI: 2410g in 176cm
– Transalp 86 CTI PRO: 2300g in 176cm
– Transalp 92 CTI: 2520g in 169cm
– Transalp 92 CTI PRO: 2410g in 176cm
– Transalp 98 CTI: 2860g in 176cm
– Transalp 105 CTI: 3060g in 178cm
– Transalp RC: 1390g per pair in 161cm
Key terminology:
– “C” models feature carbon reinforcement along the entire ski.
– “CTI” models combine full-length carbon reinforcement with a milled titanium plate for added stiffness.
– “CTI PRO” versions include a longer Titanal plate, double carbon layers, and a tuned rocker profile.
– On the freerando side, Fischer still offers the Ranger series in the catalog, with numerous width options available.
