Faction Touring Skis

Finally, some lightweight touring skis from Faction!
“La Machine” — a bold name for Faction’s new lightest touring range. The lineup includes 4 models, from 91mm to 126mm underfoot, built with carbon construction, featuring a soft flex and pronounced rocker for optimal float on powder days.
– La Machine 1 Micro: 91mm underfoot, 2580g per pair in 177cm
– La Machine 2 Mini: 99mm underfoot, 2900g per pair in 183cm
– La Machine 3 Mega: 109mm underfoot, 3220g per pair in 184cm
– La Machine 4 Max: 126mm underfoot, 3900g per pair in 186cm

These are exceptionally lightweight skis for climbing, now we just have to see how they perform on snow.

Faction is also expanding its Agent touring ski line, which was launched last season.

The Agent range still includes four widths.
– The Agent 3.0 has a 106mm waist and weighs 3.4kg in 180cm
– The Agent 4.0 has a 116mm waist and weighs 3.6kg

These heavier weights suggest the Agent series is more suitable for lift-access or resort-based touring.
