The Alproof 38 + 5 is a high-end “touring” avalanche backpack with a nominal capacity of 38 L extendable to 43 L, designed for multi-day ski touring and freeride outings. It features a cartridge-free electric airbag system, with quick deployment, combining safety and compactness. The 38 L volume allows for carrying essentials (clothing, safety equipment, food, accessories), and the +5 L extension provides extra room for longer days or variable conditions. It benefits from optimized carrying with a compact back, close to the body, for better stability, as well as a ventilated design. Access to the bag is via a three-way zip “clamshell” opening for easy storage. The dedicated compartment offers clear organization for shovel, probe, and emergency tools. The ski attachment system is complete: diagonal or A-Frame modes, vertical carry for snowboard, attachments for ice axe, poles, and rope, and helmet attachment with integrated net. The waist belt is equipped with practical pockets, the shoulder straps are ergonomic and adjustable, and a chest strap with whistle completes the set.
