The Arva Airbag Explore 40 Switch is a 40 L avalanche backpack designed for committed ski tourers and long alpine expeditions, combining modularity, generous capacity, and a high-end safety system. It features the Reactor 2.0 system, with dual airbags (2 × 75 L) to maximize the chances of staying on the surface during an avalanche. The Switch version allows the cover to be replaced without changing the airbag base, adapting the volume or configuration according to the outing. With its optimized weight of 2,030 g (excluding cartridge), it is among the most balanced high-capacity airbag backpacks. Access to the main compartment is via a full front opening, and a lower pocket allows quick access to skins, crampons, or gloves without removing the backpack.
