Salomon Touring Skis
For the 2025/2026 season, Salomon’s MTN touring ski range focuses on sustainability and performance. Salomon has upgraded its models by incorporating cork into the tip and using a base made of 50% recycled materials, enhancing reparability while maintaining excellent glide quality.
This collection includes several skis tailored to different skier profiles, with Carbon versions for reduced weight and Pro versions for added durability. The MTN 96 Carbon (2760 g per pair in 174 cm), MTN 91 Carbon (2496 g in 174 cm), MTN 86 Carbon (2240 g in 172 cm), and MTN 80 Carbon (1960 g in 164 cm) target advanced skiers. Meanwhile, the Pro versions of the MTN 86 and MTN 80—slightly heavier due to their Karuba/Poplar cores—are ideal for intermediate or beginner ski tourers. Several models are also available in women-specific versions.
In addition, the QST Echo 106 rounds out the range as a lighter version of the freeride QST 106 ski, weighing 350 g less per pair (3620 g in 181 cm). This versatile model combines a Karuba/Poplar core, basalt fibers, and cork inserts in the tip and tail for improved shock absorption and handling. Its topsheet contains 30% recycled materials, and it features recycled ABS sidewalls—reinforcing Salomon’s eco-conscious commitment.
