MANUFACTURER’S OPINION
The Rossignol Slashimi Split is a splitboard designed for fans of high-performance freerando, combining lightness, maneuverability, and power. It features a Hybrid Camber profile (traditional camber between the feet, slight rocker at the tip and tail), offering a very good compromise between grip on hard snow and float in powder.
Its Mix-Core construction combines an ultra-light wood core with carbon and flax reinforcements, for a balanced result: easy ascent, responsiveness in descent, and absorption of terrain irregularities. Directional but with a slight flex at the tail, it offers a smooth, accessible, and stable ride.
The shape incorporates a moderate setback and a slight rear taper, enhancing its float in powder while maintaining dynamism on the piste and in turns. Its fast and solid sintered base is optimized to withstand friction from rocks or branches, ideal for long outings.
