A featherweight with multiple uses: the Ortovox AVABAG LiTRIC TOUR 30 backpack is specially designed for ski touring, equipped with the LiTRIC avalanche airbag system. Whether you’re doing a quick ski tour after work, multi-day routes, or high-altitude adventures, a single BASE can accommodate AVABAG LiTRIC TOUR and FREERIDE zipped storage modules of different sizes, suitable for various situations. The zip system is designed to allow easy assembly of storage modules with the base, creating a harmonious unit.

The BASE, including the back element and the airbag system, offers exceptional comfort thanks to the FULL CONTACT LIGHT back system.

The storage module opens fully with a circular zip and is equipped with all the necessary options for ski touring: attachment for skis, splitboard, rope, ice axe holder, and map compartment, meeting all needs. The separate safety compartment houses emergency equipment. To minimize weight, lightweight but abrasion-resistant fabrics are preferred.

The LiTRIC electronic airbag system combines lightness, ease of use, and reliability. It recharges in about 25 minutes via the USB-C port, allowing for numerous test activations at no additional cost. The absence of a cartridge offers more space, no weighing required, no cartridges to dispose of, and no travel restrictions. The super-capacitors, used instead of cartridges, make the airbag super light, making this system one of the lightest on the market. Moreover, it is very intuitive to use, from the charging process with LED indicator, to the activation handle, leg strap, and airbag storage. One charge allows at least two activations, with an autonomy of about 60 hours in ON mode, suitable for multi-day ski tours without recharging. The operating temperature range is from -30° to +45° C.
