Developed from the same unisex shape as the Maurauder. With its slight pintail, the tail of the Freeloader sinks well into the powder while the wider nose planes well to stay above the pow and cross the choppy snow with ease. The new TourLite core in paulownia is ultra-light and is sandwiched between two layers of triaxial fiberglass enhanced by our ICG™️ 20 technology. By integrating 20 carbon strips into the fiberglass from nose to tail, we gain pop without adding weight, which provides excellent edge hold, facilitates traverses on hard snow, and boosts reactivity on descents. The Karakoram Ultra Clips at the nose and tail ensure even more effective tightening of the two parts of your splitboard. They limit all unwanted movements of the two “skis” and provide the sensation of having a single-piece board underfoot on the descent.
