If you are looking for a balanced touring ski for your hikes, the Atomic Backland 85 W model is the one for you. Light enough for the ascent, it offers good flotation on powder while being robust and grippy enough to accompany you both ways. At the center is an Ultra Light Woodcore made of poplar/carob. The particular shape of the ski will make the ascent easier and ensure a secure grip, especially during long excursions. It also features HRZN Tech Tips technology at the ends, providing 10% more surface area for incredible flotation on powder, less tip deflection, and better alignment in turns. Its incredible stability comes from the carbon fibers that cover it entirely, allowing you to control power on and off-piste. This model is available in lovely shades of purple/pink, and we offer compatible pre-cut skins.
