Simond touring skis

For the 2026/2027 season, Simond continues to expand its Wilder touring skis range, originally launched in 2024 under the Decathlon brand. The main change this year is the brand identity: the skis now feature the new Simond logo, introduced in late 2025, along with a bolder new graphic design. Technically, however, the lineup remains unchanged.

The collection still consists of three models covering the core needs of ski touring. The Simond Wilder 85 (85 mm waist) is designed for ski tourers who prioritize lightweight equipment and long ascents. The Wilder 95 and Wilder 102, both featuring carbon fiber construction, deliver an excellent balance of low weight, climbing efficiency and downhill performance. The Wilder 95 weighs just 2,480 g per pair in a 170 cm length, while the Wilder 102 comes in at 2,700 g per pair in 175 cm, making both models highly competitive in their respective categories.

Developed in collaboration with mountain guides from the Chamonix Valley, the Simond Wilder touring skis retain the technical features that made the first generation so successful. They are still available as complete packages with the Tyrolia Almonte 10 bindings, equipped with ski brakes and weighing 680 g per pair, as well as pre-cut climbing skins, continuing to offer one of the best value-for-money packages on the market.

With the 2026/2027 Simond Wilder range, Simond confirms its ambition to offer high-performance, versatile and affordable touring skis, suitable for both beginners and experienced ski tourers alike.
