Black Crows Touring Skis

For the 2026/2027 season, Black Crows has significantly updated its Freebird touring skis lineup. While staying true to the DNA that made the range so popular, the Chamonix-based brand has refined the sidecuts, substantially reduced weights and improved the overall consistency of the collection. Most models also feature a new integrated tail notch for easier and more secure climbing skin attachment.

The Black Crows Navis Freebird, the brand’s 104 mm freerando model, sheds around 350 g per pair while maintaining its renowned balance of stability, float and maneuverability. The versatile Black Crows Camox Freebird also benefits from an impressive weight reduction of approximately 350 g, while the Black Crows Orb Freebird becomes even more efficient for long ski touring days with nearly 250 g saved.

The Black Crows Draco Freebird retains its unique position as a playful twin-tip freerando ski built for downhill performance. With a 110 mm waist, it remains the widest and most playful model in the Freebird collection.

The lineup is completed by the Black Crows Ova Freebird and Mentis Freebird, two lightweight touring skis designed for ski tourers who prioritize climbing efficiency and long ascents.

With this new generation of Black Crows Freebird touring skis, the brand delivers a lighter, more cohesive and highly versatile collection, covering everything from long alpine tours and ski mountaineering to freerando and committed backcountry descents.
