PRESENTATION

ABS presents the Airbag A.LIGHT E 25-30 L, a new generation avalanche backpack designed for demanding ski touring enthusiasts.

The electric system Alpride E² triggers a 162 L mono-airbag offering maximum safety without the need for a cartridge, more environmentally friendly and usable in air transport. The device is rechargeable via USB-C, with a standby autonomy of about three months — ideal for long outings.

Thanks to its Zip-On ABS® system, the A.LIGHT E accepts different packs (Zip-On 10, 18, 30, or 40 L), allowing it to adapt to both light outings and multi-day raids. Its Roll-top + side zip construction allows flexible volume extension up to an additional 5 L.

The bag offers premium comfort: padded shoulder straps, ergonomic back panels with body adjustment (Superior Support), belt, chest strap with signaling whistle, and safety leash included. The RescUnit compartment ensures quick and orderly access to the shovel, probe, and rescue kit.

From a fastening point of view, the A.LIGHT E allows: diagonal or A-Frame attachment for skis or splitboards, vertical carry for board, straps for ice axe or poles, as well as rope attachment. The helmet can be attached via an integrated retractable net.

The A.LIGHT E 25-30 L is available in two back lengths (S/M and L/XL) — both versions weigh approximately 2,510 g. It is offered in Dark Slate, Khaki, and Burned Yellow colors.
