The seasons go by, and year after year, the number of splitboards we’ve tested keeps growing—so much so that the list is now impressively long.
Some models have disappeared from our pages, while others have stood the test of time. From one year to the next, there are always updates or tweaks, whether in the decks themselves or in the content of our reviews. Sometimes, the differences are barely noticeable—or even nonexistent. Often, that simply means the model hasn’t changed in a while. Occasionally, only the color gets updated to match current trends. But that alone isn’t enough to create meaningful changes in feel or performance.

HOW TO CHOOSE

SIZE

For standard touring use, it’s generally recommended to go with a board that’s 15 to 20 cm shorter than your height (20 to 25 cm shorter if you’re aiming for a freestyle setup).
