The Black Diamond Helio Carbon 108 is a touring ski specially designed for deep snow enthusiasts, seeking both maximum flotation and stability. Its new configuration allows it to offer sufficient stiffness to maintain good grip, even when the snow becomes firmer. Thanks to its pre-impregnated carbon fiber structure and full-length ABS sidewalls, it offers an excellent compromise between lightness, strength, and performance. The paulownia wood core helps reduce the ski’s total weight while maintaining optimal dynamism, even in the most demanding conditions.
With a wide waist of 108 mm and a rocker in the tip and tail, this model ensures exceptional flotation in powder and excellent maneuverability on the descent. This configuration makes it particularly effective for making tracks in fresh snow, while offering very good performance on transformed snow. The reinforced structure improves damping and comfort on uneven terrain, while the rear protection system with a notch facilitates the placement of skins, thus optimizing transitions during ascents.
