Black Crows touring skis

For the 2025/2026 season, there are no changes to Black Crows’ ski touring lineup.

In 2024, the Draco Freebird replaced the Ferox: 110mm underfoot and 3.6kg per pair in the 176cm length.
The Chamonix-based brand had also revamped its ski touring range in 2023. The Camox Freebird was updated with 1mm less underfoot and a few extra grams on the scale — 2950g per pair in 178cm. Black Crows claims the new version offers a smoother feel on snow than the previous generation, along with improved edge hold thanks to a better torsion box. It is available in six lengths: 157, 164, 171, 178, 183, and 188cm.

The Ova Freebird was also completely new after nine years in the lineup. For its third update, the brand introduced a ski with a noticeably more « sporty » flex while remaining very accessible. It weighs 2400g per pair in 176cm and is available in five lengths: 156, 163, 170, 176, and 183cm.

Otherwise, the Mentis Freebird, Orb Freebird, Navis Freebird, and Corvus Freebird remain unchanged.

As a reminder, the “Freebird” versions are the lightweight models designed for ski touring in the Black Crows range.
