OUR REVIEW OF THE BLACK CROWS DRACO FREEBIRD

MANUFACTURER’S OPINION

The Black Crows Draco Freebird ski is a touring ski model that stands out for its versatility, lightness, and excellent skiability. It is the only twin-tip model in the brand’s touring ski range. The Draco Freebird has been designed to offer optimal grip on hard snow, while being playful enough to allow for a creative and fun skiing experience.

The Draco Freebird features a base that provides excellent glide on all types of snow. The ski dimensions are 138mm at the tip, 110mm at the waist, and 126mm at the tail, with a length of 181cm. The turning radius is 21m for this same length. The ski is available in three sizes: 176cm, 181cm, and 189cm.

The ski’s construction combines a wood core with layers of fiberglass and carbon, for optimal strength and maximum lightness. The weight of the Draco Freebird is 3.1kg per pair in 181cm, making it one of the lightest skis in its category. The Draco Freebird is a ski that will perfectly suit touring skiers looking for a versatile, high-performance, and lightweight model, allowing for a creative skiing experience.
