Atomic Ski Touring Boots

The Backland boot range has been refreshed with new names for better clarity and a few improvements. All boots still use the same mold as before, which means a relatively similar construction.

The range is now segmented in the same way as the skis: Backland, Backland SL, and Backland UL, with the following updates:

Backland: instep closure with hook (Cross-Lace 2.0) for a firm hold, giving a more downhill-oriented feel. Cuff closure with hook + power strap. Weight: 2292 g per pair in size 26.5 for the Backland Pro.
Backland SL: new cuff closure system with a 2-in-1 hook/strap for simplified handling and weight savings. Same instep hook closure. Weight: 2198 g per pair in size 26.5 for the Backland Pro SL.
Backland UL: combines the new cuff closure system with a BOA® instep system for even greater simplicity and reduced weight. Weight: 2052 g per pair in size 26.5 for the Backland Pro UL.

Note that on the freeride / free-touring side, Atomic continues to focus on the Hawx XTD range (Ultra or Prime) with numerous variations.
